Do You Want to Know a Secret (1 of 3)

The title is clickbaity but also a real title. What do you think?

Hey-yi, pals! I hope you had a happy Halloween. And shouts out to loved ones waving at us through the thin veil on this Day of the Dead. Hi, y’all!

For the Cassidy: Biggest Monster, Smallest Planet story I’m starting this week, I wanted to do something stripped down and focused in. The previous story had pretty much every single character (we still haven’t met the elusive Kreg*) and a half dozen locations, but this story features just Cassidy and a mysterious probe from another world.

I’m playing with scale a bit here. The horizon is wider than normally shown, betraying just how wee the planet is. We don’t even see any buildings. There are definitely a couple of spots on the world where one would see just a sea and an empty field, especially if you’re zoomed in and down low. And yeah! I really wanted to do a story that felt like a deep breath for the reader (and the artist). Hope ya like it!
